Terms of Use

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to RemoteGravity. By accessing our public website, downloading our CLI daemon, running our desktop controller, or purchasing our mobile apps and Wormhole Pro Relay services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Scope & Software Licensing

RemoteGravity is an ecosystem designed to manage, monitor, and relay local developer agent loops.

  • Core CLI & Daemon: Distributed under the open-source MIT License. You are free to audit, modify, and redistribute the core local software under those license terms.
  • Console, Desktop, & Mobile Clients: Licensed under a proprietary developer license. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the compiled binaries for your internal development operations. Reverse engineering, redistribution, or modification of the proprietary client software is prohibited without written consent.

2. Local Execution & Risks

RemoteGravity connects your local machine to developer tools and AI models. Because the software executes arbitrary terminal commands, runs scripts, edits source code, and accesses your local filesystem:

  • User Supervision: You are solely responsible for configuring, running, and supervising the actions taken by your daemon. You must authorize commands and code modifications carefully.
  • Risk Assumption: You assume all risks of local execution, including but not limited to filesystem corruption, command execution failures, credential disclosure, security vulnerabilities, or data loss.
  • No Liability for AI Action: RemoteGravity has no control over the commands generated or executed by external AI models (e.g. Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini). We are not liable for any actions, failures, or security breaches arising from AI code generation or shell executions.

3. Wormhole Relay Fair Use

The Wormhole Pro Relay provides encrypted pass-through websocket connections. To maintain reliability and service availability:

  • Rate Limiting: Connections are subject to programmatic sliding-window rate limits (typically 50 messages per second per WebSocket). Exceeding these limits will result in automatic termination of the connection.
  • Abusive Behavior: You agree not to use the relay to transmit malware, conduct unauthorized network scanning, perform denial-of-service attacks, or execute illegal operations.
  • Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate relay access for any account found in violation of these fair use terms or causing harm to the infrastructure.

4. Subscription Billing & Refunds

Subscription pricing (Wormhole Pro Relay) is billed on a recurring monthly or yearly cycle. All billing is handled securely via Stripe.

  • Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Pro Relay until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: Purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or as determined in our sole discretion.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software, including the CLI, desktop console, mobile apps, and Cloud Relay, is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall RemoteGravity or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or inability to use the software or relay services.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will indicate changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
